Redshift – help your eyes

redshift

Redshift is a very tiny, simple program that adapts screen color temperature to your surrounding in result what lessens the strain on your eyes.

Installation on Arch is pretty easy, just in terminal type:

sudo clyde -S redshift

If you want a tray version run

gtk-redshift -l 54.6893865:25.2800243

if not

redshift -l 54.6893865:25.2800243

For latitude and longitude go here http://www.getlatlon.com/

Don’t forget the colon between numbers.

Openbox users should modify their .config/openbox/autostart.sh

gtk-redshift -l 54.6893865:25.2800243 &
